JMFF Frequently asked questions
Jamaican Music & Food Festival is a one-day festival which takes place on March 12th, 2021 between 11am and 9 pm at Seaworks, in Williamstown: map
The event is organised by Australia Reggae Radio and Stick Mareebo Productions, with help from a very small dedicated team and support from Local Council

Here is a quick summary of general information about JMFF:
• No alcohol or food is allowed to be brought into the festival
• No illegal substances are permitted into the festival
• Under 18’s MUST be accompanied by an adult and must provide acceptable Proof of Age to gain admission.
• All adults will get a wristband at the door on supply of acceptable ID. Wristbands are checked before service of alcohol.
• All festival attendees must consent to being searched on entry by security
We welcome support from volunteers and our team genuinely have the most fun imaginable! Get in touch if you are interested in volunteering before the event or on the day.
HOW DO I GAIN ENTRY TO JMFF?
Simply present your e-ticket to our friendly staff either on your phone or bring a printed copy. This will have been emailed to you after purchase.
All tickets including children's tickets are General Admission. The gates open at 11am – with no re-entry.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK INTO THE FESTIVAL?
Sadly we cannot allow General Admission festival goers to bring their own food, or drinks other than bottled water, into the festival. If the food is a dietary requirement, please flag this to our gate staff and they should be able to make an exception under such circumstances. We do provide free drinking water stations at the festival.
DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?
Seaworks can be accessed by wheelchair. We have disabled access toilets and facilities on site. Please reach out to discuss your specific needs in advance: here
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Yes, we welcome people of all ages. That said, we are a music event and therefore make use of amplified noise. Children of all ages are welcomed but where there is loud music we ask that you protect your child's hearing by using baby buds or similar devices. Children under 12 are free but still require a ticket. Tickets for children 12 - 16 are available.
CAN I PERFORM OR HAVE A STALL AT THE FESTIVAL?
While we love to hear from talented artists, our programming decisions are made far in advance of the festival and after a formal call out for submissions. If you feel we MUST hear your music then feel free to get in touch

CAN I DRIVE TO THE FESTIVAL?
Street parking is nearby the venue is limited. We recommend you come early to secure a spot or make use of excellent public transport links in the area.
DO I NEED A CONCESSION CARD?
All persons with a concession card can purchase a concession ticket. Concession cards must be presented upon request at the gate.
